Forming the Next Generation

First Pres Kids

Jesus loved kids, and so do we! We believe every child is full of great potential, and we want to encourage and foster their faith. We are excited about the next generation.

Infants & Preschoolers
The Preschool Ministry at First Pres believes parents are the primary disciplers of their children—and we are your partners in that process. That’s why, each week, we create a safe, fun, and creative environment for your preschoolers to learn about God.
Kids (Kindergarten – 5th)
First Pres Kids exists to help kids find and follow Jesus. This happens through engaging the stages of childhood through interactive activities, dynamic conversations and authentic community. It’s fun, intentional and engaging.

New to First Pres?

If it is your first-time at First Pres, we want you and your child to feel safe and welcome. We’re excited you are here!

Children’s Directors

Our aim is to come along side parents as you train your children. We want to provide a safe environment for your child to have fun, build friendships, and grow to love Jesus. As your child gets older, we provide Bible centered teaching that is appropriate for your child’s age.

Childcare & Education

The Early Childhood Community Ministries is committed to creating a safe environment for kids and parents to thrive.

Mother’s Morning Out
The Mother’s Morning Out / Little Lambs program is a safe and nurturing environment for children 9 months to 4 years old. You can feel good knowing your child will be cared for and taught to love Jesus and love others.
Families in need of additional before and after school childcare as well as full-time summer childcare may apply for the childcare program. Childcare classes are available beginning at age three through kindergarten.
First Presbyterian Preschool is now Providence Early Childhood Ministries. Our preschool was established in 1973 as an educational service to our covenant and community children. Preschool is open to families who desire for their children a quality education from a Christian worldview.
