If you are Christian, there is a great deal of pressure on you on to deny that Jesus is the way to God. How can Christians say there is only one way to the Father? Look at what Jesus says.

In John 14, Jesus explains that he is the only Way to reconciliation with the Father (v. 6). He is the only one able to ascend to Heaven, prepare a place for us, and bring us to him (vv. 2-3). Christ is not only the Way to the Father, but also is the Truth of who God is (v. 6). In saying this, Jesus declares that he is God in the flesh. He then further expounds upon the message of the gospel, explaining that he is the Life of God, given to make us spiritually alive unto life eternal.

How do we apply this? Recognize that faith in Christ is what joins us to Jesus and his Way, Truth, and Life. Therefore, don’t be troubled. If you’re a believer, you don’t have to create your own way to God based on your righteousness and merit. Jesus gives you his righteousness and his life.
