The Freedom to Serve

April 28, 2024

Scripture: Galatians 5:13-15

In Christ Jesus, the Christian exchanges his shackles of sin for the bonds of a right relationship with God and others.

We are called to freedom. Why? Because it glorifies God to save his people from the bondage of sin, condemnation, the Enemy, and the bonds of a guilty conscience. We ought not to use our freedom as a means of pursuing sin, but rather as a means of being free from sin. As we are unshackled from unrighteousness, the Christian’s heart is free to be submitted to serving others.
